Lawyer Gary Nimako, who leads the legal affairs for the New Patriotic Party NPP, has voiced strong criticism against the Economic and Organised Crime Office EOCO.
He accused EOCO of abusing its powers and overstepping its legal mandate.
Mr Nimako made these remarks during a discussion on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen show.
He emphasized that public officials should be mindful that political power is not everlasting.
The lawyer stated that he had refrained from speaking on the matter for some time.
Mr Nimako suggested that those currently in positions of authority should not act as if their power will last forever.
