Nuredeen Issaka pleaded guilty to stealing and unlawful entry. According to Police Detective Chief Inspector Bright Nkansah, the complainant, Abdul Rauf Usif, sales manager of Mumud Atiiga enterprise, had received GH¢123,000.00 from a customer. The money was kept in the complainant's room as the ordered tricycles were not available. On April 21, 2026, the complainant discovered the money was missing. He secretly recorded his room and captured Issaka going through his bag and taking GH¢120.00. Issaka was arrested on April 25, 2026, and confessed to the theft. Investigations revealed he sent portions of the money to two individuals, who subsequently returned GH¢61,000.00 and GH¢22,000.00 respectively. Issaka claimed he used some of the money for food and clothes. The court ordered him to refund GH¢40,000.00 to the complainant.
