The corruption trial of former National Service Authority Executive Director Osei Assibey Antwi is scheduled to continue at the High Court in Accra on 2 November 2026.

According to Chale News, citing the Ghanaian Times, prosecutors outlined their intended witnesses, documentary evidence and exhibits during a case management conference.

Antwi faces charges including stealing, money laundering and causing financial loss to the state. Prosecutors allege that he authorised payments to non-existent national service personnel between August 2021 and February 2025. The alleged transactions ranged from GH¢516,000 to GH¢55 million.

Antwi pleaded not guilty and was granted GH¢800 million bail on 30 October 2025, subject to six sureties and other conditions. His lawyer maintains his innocence.

In a separate National Service Authority case, former Deputy Executive Director Gifty Oware-Mensah is due back in court on 9 November 2026. She has also pleaded not guilty.

Neither accused person has been convicted in these proceedings.
