Akosua Serwah Fosuh, the widow of highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known as Daddy Lumba, has filed a defamation suit at the High Court in Accra against a TikTok commentator.
According to Chale News, citing court documents sighted by GhanaWeb, the writ was filed on 15 October 2026 against Elizabeth Opuni, who runs the TikTok account Maa Lizzy.
The statement of claim alleges that Maa Lizzy published statements in Twi claiming that Fosuh used witchcraft against the musician. Fosuh denies the claims and describes them as false and defamatory.
She is seeking GH¢10m in general and aggravated damages, a perpetual injunction, a retraction and a public apology, plus costs.
The defendant had not responded publicly in the reports. The claims have not been tested in court.
