An unidentified man believed to be in his 50s has been found dead with multiple knife wounds and bruises near the Buduburam Police Barrier along Aprah Road in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Residents discovered the body and reported several injuries on different parts of the man. Preliminary observations cited by those outlets suggest he may have been attacked elsewhere before the body was left by the roadside.

The Assemblyman for the Buduburam Electoral Area, Emmanuel Dogbe, told journalists the discovery had unsettled the community. Police have conveyed the body to the morgue while investigations continue into the cause of death and the man's identity.

As of the cited reports, authorities had not named the victim or announced any arrest. Some residents said bodies had previously been found along poorly lit stretches of the corridor and called for better street lighting.
