A victim injured during a recruitment stampede has been moved to Accra for further medical attention. The Ghana Armed Forces arranged the air transport.
Sarah Baafi Boateng was flown to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. This follows injuries she sustained during an event on November 12, 2025.
The incident occurred at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The stampede took place during a recruitment exercise.
A medical evacuation team from the Ghana Armed Forces successfully completed the airlift. The operation ensured the victim's safe transfer to the capital.
