According to Yen Ghana, the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has apprehended four more individuals linked to the export of 3.9 tonnes of narcotics. The shipment, which was intercepted by French customs at the Port of Dunkirk in September 2026, was allegedly concealed within a container labeled as plastic waste originating from Ghana. The substance has been valued at approximately $260 million. While the identities of the four newly arrested suspects have not been disclosed, authorities confirmed that one additional person remains at large. This development follows the earlier arraignment of ten other suspects in September 2026, who faced charges including conspiracy and the export of narcotics without a license. Among those previously arraigned were individuals linked to the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority. All suspects involved in the case are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
