According to the Ghana News Agency, an Accra Circuit Court has granted GH¢2 million bail each to Nene Ebenezer Mormo Kissiedu Nyamaa II and George Kenneth Tetteh. The two men, who are facing charges related to the conflicting grant of land, must provide three sureties each, with one to be justified. The court also ordered the accused to report to the police investigator on a weekly basis. Prosecution alleged that the accused, acting as representatives of the Gbesedorm Clan, sold 1,009 acres of land to a complainant despite prior transactions involving the same property. The prosecution stated that the accused were aware of earlier land grants to other parties when they accepted money from the complainant. Both men have denied the charges of conspiring to grant land to more than one person. The court has adjourned the case to November 16, 2026.
