Nana Agradaa is now out of prison. She had been serving a sentence for fraud related charges.
Her legal team appealed the initial ruling. They argued the first sentence was too harsh.
The Amasaman High Court agreed with her lawyers. The court changed the sentence from 15 years to 12 months imprisonment.
This change meant Nana Agradaa had already completed her time.
She was found guilty of defrauding by false pretence. She was also convicted of engaging in charlatanic advertisement.
The original sentencing happened on July 3, 2025.
Nana Agradaa has now been released after serving eight months.
