Popular personality Nana Agradaa has been released from prison. She had been serving a sentence for fraud charges.
Agradaa was initially given a 15-year jail term on July 3, 2025. This was for defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertisement.
Her legal team appealed the sentence. They argued that the original punishment was too severe.
The Amasaman High Court agreed with her lawyers. The court reduced her sentence to 12 months.
Agradaa has served eight months of this reduced sentence.
She is now free following the court's decision.
