Popularly known as Nana Agradaa, she has been released from prison. She served eight months of her sentence.
Agradaa was originally sentenced to 15 years imprisonment on July 3, 2025. This was for charges including defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertisement.
Her legal team challenged the initial ruling. They argued that the 15-year sentence was excessively harsh.
The Amasaman High Court reviewed the case and agreed with the defence. The court reduced her sentence to 12 months.
Following this reduction, Agradaa met the criteria for early release after serving eight months.
The details of her release were confirmed by court filings.
