The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has stated that hardworking police officers will be promoted. He believes there is honor in doing good work.
The IGP mentioned that his team will make sure officers who deserve recognition receive it. This was according to a statement by a Named official.
These promotions are for officers who showed bravery and skill in their jobs. Examples include those who arrested the individuals responsible for the killing of Sammy Gyamfi’s in-law.
Other officers to be rewarded are those who successfully dismantled criminal gangs. These gangs were operating in areas like Tema and Ahafo, according to the Ghana Police Service.
The IGP spoke about his commitment to rewarding police personnel. He was speaking in Kumasi.
