The decision to grant him enquiry bail was based on the circumstances of the case, the applicable law, and his cooperation. The investigation concerns alleged unauthorised financial transactions. Another MP, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, intentionally causing financial loss to a public body, and money laundering in relation to the matter.
