A 22-year-old pregnant woman, Priscilla Sackey, is appealing for the release of her husband, Richard Adjei, who has been sentenced to six years in prison for assaulting her. The plea comes after Adjei was found guilty of assault charges.
According to reports, Ms. Sackey stated that her intention was for the police to issue a caution to her husband following two separate assault incidents. However, the case has escalated to a custodial sentence, leading to her current appeal for his freedom.
