The Member of Parliament for South Tongu, Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, visited the South Tongu District Hospital in Sogakope. He inspected newly purchased surgical equipment. This equipment is valued at more than GH₵500,000.
The MP described the new equipment as a "strategic investment" for the healthcare system in his area. He said his efforts helped to secure the equipment.
In addition to the hospital support, Mr. Lukutor also provided logistics to the South Tongu District Court. This support aims to improve the court's operations.
The equipment at the hospital is expected to enhance surgical services for residents. This will reduce the need for patients to travel to other areas for advanced care.
The MP's dual support for both health and justice institutions highlights his focus on community development. These initiatives aim to strengthen essential services in South Tongu.
