The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has issued a stern warning to business owners. Shops that remain open will face severe consequences.

The Minister stated that any business defying the government’s directive to close for the clean-up operation will be locked. This action is part of a nationwide effort to clear debris and restore order after recent floods.

Furthermore, goods belonging to shop owners who refuse to comply will be confiscated. This measure aims to ensure full participation in the clean-up exercise.

Minister Ocloo made these remarks during an interview. She emphasized the importance of the two-day nationwide clean-up initiative.

The directive is intended to allow authorities and citizens to focus on making the country cleaner and safer following the floods.
