The newly created Specialised High Court Division will receive judges with special training. These judges will come from the Court of Appeal. This was announced by the Judicial Secretary.
Musah Ahmed, the Judicial Secretary, said the division will have a distinct purpose. It will also be resourced differently from other courts. Judges will be assigned to handle specific types of cases.
The move aims to improve how certain cases are handled in Ghana's legal system. The Judicial Service is working to make sure these courts are well-equipped.
The plan looks to strengthen the judiciary. It will ensure specialized legal matters are heard by expert judges. This development is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the court system.
