Richard Appiah will spend the rest of his life in prison. This follows a court ruling in Accra.

A jury of seven people decided unanimously that Appiah was guilty. He was found guilty of murdering two children.

The crimes happened in Abesim, which is in the Sunyani Municipal District of the Bono Region.

The trial was led by Justice Ruby Aryeetey at the High Court in Accra. The final decision was reached on Tuesday.

Appiah was convicted on two separate counts of murder. Both counts relate to the unlawful killing of the two minors.

The court's decision means he will serve a life sentence for these serious crimes.
