Socialite Ohemaa Dynamite, whose real name is Abigail Owusu Ansah, remains in custody despite being granted bail of GH¢1m by the Adenta Circuit Court.
According to Adom Online, her release has been delayed because the investigator objected to the sureties she presented, citing their residence outside the Accra jurisdiction. She has been directed to provide sureties who live within the jurisdiction.
She is facing an alleged theft case involving GH¢1.5m reportedly taken from a safe at the residence of Bishop Daniel Obinim.
The case follows reports that she visited Bishop Obinim's residence for a live session. The alleged theft was reportedly discovered around 15 October 2026.
No date for the next hearing was reported.
The allegations remain before the court. No conviction was reported, and she remains presumed innocent.
