A woman named Latifa Salifu has been granted bail by the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit court in Accra. The bail amount is GH₵200,000.
She must provide two sureties to secure her release. Salifu was arrested in connection with the theft of a newborn baby.
The incident reportedly occurred at the postnatal ward of Mamprobi Polyclinic. The baby taken was only four days old.
