Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi has addressed a rape allegation made against him. Hakimi has been sent to criminal court in Hauts-de-Seine, France.
In a statement, Hakimi declared his innocence. He said he contests the accusation and believes evidence shows it is false.
The player's management team has also issued statements in his defense.
The legal process is expected to continue in France.
