The Accra High Court has thrown out a legal challenge to the Ayawaso East By-Election. Democracy Hub had sought to stop the election through an injunction.
The court found that the application had procedural flaws. It also determined that the court did not have the authority to hear the case.
This decision means the Ayawaso East By-Election will proceed as planned. The ruling was made by the Judicial Service.
