A man believed to be an ex-convict has been taken into custody in Tamale. He was arrested for allegedly stealing multiple mobile phones from a store.
Police identified the suspect after reviewing surveillance camera footage from the shop. The individual had previously served time for a theft conviction.
The suspect is currently assisting the Ghana Police Service with their inquiries. No further details have been released about the ongoing investigation.
