A suspected thief in the Ashanti Region has been apprehended by local residents, reportedly after an attempted theft of a truckload of cement. The incident took a peculiar turn when the suspect's traditional fugu garment was damaged during the apprehension.
Sources indicate that the suspect, identified only by the moniker 'Ninja' among his captors, was caught in the act of stealing a significant quantity of cement. During the struggle to detain him, his fugu, which he allegedly believed possessed spiritual protective powers, was torn. The suspect was subsequently detained by the community members.
