Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has spoken for the first time about her time in prison after her release. She completed serving nine months of her sentence, which is two-thirds of her original one-year custodial term. This was done according to Ghana's standard remission regulations.
Agradaa was initially handed a 15-year jail sentence for fraud. She spoke about her feelings upon arriving at the prison gates. She stated that her only words at that moment were a surrender to God.
