The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested Isaac Boafo, who is 45 years old. He is also known on social media as “Duabo King.”
Mr. Boafo has been charged with publishing false news. This action by the police is to prevent fear and panic among the public.
The arrest comes after a video of the suspect was shared widely on TikTok. In the video, he made certain claims about police officers.
The police report states that Mr. Boafo alleged that four police officers engaged in inappropriate conduct with commercial sex workers.
