Over 500 police officers are now working in Greater Accra. They are part of a large National General Cleaning exercise.

The Accra Regional Police Command sent these officers to important areas. Their job is to ensure safety during the event.

This exercise is a direct response to the severe flooding that happened last week.

President John Dramani Mahama ordered the clean-up. It is planned to last for two days.

The police will help keep order and also participate in cleaning efforts.

This action aims to improve sanitation and prevent future flood-related issues.
