The Obuasi Divisional Police Command received a significant donation today. AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) supplied the command with a new power plant.
The power plant is an 80KV generator set. It came with full installation and cost GH¢550,000.
The mining company stated that the donation will strengthen security operations. It will also ensure administrative duties continue without interruption.
