Frederick Kumi, a Ghanaian social media personality known as Abu Trica, appeared in a United States court. He was extradited to the US to face charges.
Kumi pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. The accusations were brought against him in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
A trial date has been set for September. This follows his extradition to the United States.
