Leaders of Ghana's tomato trading community are urging drivers to be careful. They say routes into northern Burkina Faso are dangerous.
This warning comes after an attack killed several Ghanaian traders. The incident happened earlier this month.
Nana Tuffuor, a leader from the Ghana National Tomato Traders and Transporters Association, issued the warning.
He said many towns on these routes are considered 'red zones'. These are areas with high risk.
The association wants traders and drivers to consider alternative routes. This is to ensure their safety.
Security in parts of Burkina Faso has been a concern for cross-border trade.
