Security consultant Richard Kumadoe has called for stronger teamwork among Ghana’s security agencies. He believes this will make operations against crime more effective.

Kumadoe stated that better cooperation is needed to combat drug trafficking and other organised crimes. These crimes often pass through the country’s ports and borders.

He spoke on a morning radio show on Friday, September 18.

The consultant highlighted the importance of shared intelligence and coordinated efforts between different security bodies.

This collaboration, he explained, is crucial for securing Ghana's entry and exit points.

Kumadoe mentioned a recent meeting between President John Dramani Mahama and security officials as a positive step.

He suggested that such high-level discussions should lead to concrete actions on the ground.

The goal is to create a unified front against criminal activities that threaten national security.
