Businessman Samson Asaki Awingobit has asked President John Dramani Mahama to strengthen the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC). He said Ghana's entry points need basic tools to find drugs.

Awingobit stated that Ghana's system for controlling narcotics is not up to international standards. He specifically mentioned the lack of drug detection dogs at airports.

He believes that equipping NACOC properly will help fight drug trafficking more effectively. This call highlights concerns about the security of Ghana's borders against illegal substances.
