Ghana's Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) has entered into a partnership. MoFA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with B5 Plus Limited. The goal is to set up a major cashew processing facility in Ghana.

This plant will help to process raw cashew nuts domestically. This project falls under the government's Feed Ghana Programme. It aims to boost the country's agricultural sector.

The plant is expected to add significant value to Ghana's cashew production. This means more finished cashew products will be made in Ghana. This is instead of exporting raw nuts.

The agreement looks to create many new jobs for Ghanaians. These jobs will be in the processing plant itself and related industries. It will also help to grow export earnings for Ghana.

The processing plant is a step towards improving Ghana's economy. It strengthens the local agricultural industry. This supports the government's plans for food security and economic growth.
