The Institute of Community Sustainability (ICS) has called for a ban on the slaughter and eating of cats and dogs in Ghana.
The group announced this in a recent press release. They stated that this practice is harmful to public health.
ICS also believes it goes against the values of society.
They urged for immediate action to stop the consumption of these animals.
