Ghana is set to establish a large-scale cashew processing plant. This project is a step towards strengthening the country's agro-industrial sector. The Ministry of Food and Agriculture MoFA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with B5 Plus Limited.

Eric Opoku, the Minister for Food and Agriculture, signed the agreement. This partnership aims to boost the value of cashews. It will also create new jobs within the country.

The processing plant will help Ghana move beyond only exporting raw cashew nuts. It will allow for more processing of cashews before export.

This initiative could lead to higher earnings for cashew farmers. It also supports industrial growth in Ghana.
