The General Officer Commanding the Ghana Armed Forces Northern Command, Brigadier General Worlanyo Agbebo, has asked security personnel at Ghana s northern borders to improve their teamwork. He highlighted their common duty to keep the country safe.

Brigadier General Agbebo made his remarks during a tour of key border areas. This visit was part of a routine operation by the Armed Forces.

His message stressed the need for better coordination among the different state security agencies operating in these sensitive regions.

These agencies include the Ghana Police Service and immigration officials, among others.

The focus of the collaboration is to effectively combat cross-border criminal activities.

Brigadier General Agbebo stated that a unified approach is essential for national security.

This initiative aims to strengthen Ghana s defenses against smuggling, illegal migration, and other trans-national crimes.

The visits by the Commanding Officer are planned to happen every three months.
