The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has accused the government of neglecting its constitutional responsibilities. The group refers to Article 25(1)(a) of the constitution. This article mandates Free, Compulsory, and Universal Basic Education.

CDM stated there are more than 30,000 classrooms across the country without a teacher. This situation shows an administrative problem. The group considers it a violation of the constitution.

They explained that every child has a right to basic education. The government must ensure this right. The lack of teachers means many children are not getting this education.

CDM called on the government to address the issue. They stressed the importance of proper teacher provision. This will ensure all children have access to learning.

No official government response has been released as of now. The accusation highlights a gap in the education system.
