The Attorney General's Department has formally opposed the submission of no case to answer made by former National Signals Bureau boss Kwabena Adu-Boahene and two others in the ongoing cybersecurity software trial. The state contends that sufficient evidence has been presented to establish a prima facie case against the accused persons. According to the prosecution's written submission before the High Court, the facts and documentation presented point decisively to the guilt of the accused. The Attorney General asserted that the defence counsel's cross-examination was tangential and failed to discredit the documentary evidence adduced by the prosecution. The state has urged the court to dismiss the submission of no case and call upon the accused persons to open their defence. The court is expected to rule on the matter on Thursday, 5 November 2026.
