A 39-year-old teacher named Eric Apaflo Buernortey appeared in the Nyinahin District Court on Friday.
He is accused of assaulting a student in Nyinahin, Ashanti Region. The alleged assault happened earlier this year.
Mr. Buernortey pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault.
This is the second time the teacher has been brought before the court.
He was first arraigned after the issue became public on June 8, 2026.
The court is continuing to hear the case.
