A teacher is facing an assault charge in the Ashanti Region.
Eric Apaflo Buernortey, who is 39 years old, appeared in the Nyinahin District Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault.
This was the second time the teacher has been in court for this alleged crime.
The case first came before the court on June 8, 2026, after the issue was reported.
The alleged assault happened to a student at Nyinahin.
The court proceedings are ongoing.
