A teacher at Nyinahin Senior High School has been re-arraigned in court. The teacher, Eric Apaflo Buernortey, faces a charge of assault.
The 39-year-old appeared before the Nyinahin District Court on Friday. He entered a plea of not guilty to the charge.
This marks the second time Mr. Buernortey has been brought before the court for this alleged offense. He was first arraigned after the incident attracted attention on June 8.
The court granted the accused bail in the sum of GH₵80,000. Details of the alleged assault were not immediately available from court filings.
