Nurse Salomey Awiti Baffoe has reunited with her family and colleagues following her release. The family visited Nana Hansuahene to express gratitude for his support during her ordeal. Her colleagues from Abrafi Hospital were also present to welcome her back. The family thanked Ghanaians, her lawyers, and the media for their support. According to her family, Nurse Salomey has been advised by her legal team not to speak to the media at this time. She was released on October 5 on GH¢100,000 bail and is scheduled to reappear in court on February 17. She is also required to report to the Hansua Police Station in the Bono East Region every two weeks while on bail.
