A judge has ordered Achraf Hakimi to stand trial in a rape case. Hakimi plays football for Paris Saint-Germain and the Morocco national team.
Lawyers confirmed the judge's decision yesterday. The Paris prosecutor's office had previously recommended a trial last August.
Hakimi's lawyer, Fanny Colin, has announced plans to appeal the judge's order. The legal process will continue following this decision.
