Actor Michael Ward has been found not guilty of rape and sexual assault. The verdict was delivered in court on July 11, 2026.
Ward, aged 28, faced accusations of raping a woman in a car. This was said to have happened after they met outside a New Year's party in east London in January 2023.
He had denied two counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
The court heard evidence related to the allegations.
After the verdict was announced, Mr Ward began to cry.
The Judicial Service confirmed the not guilty verdict.
