The Commercial Division of the High Court in Accra has dismissed an interlocutory injunction application by Adamus Resources (PTY) Limited, an Australian company, over a 90 per cent stake in Adamus Resources Limited (Adamus Ghana).
The application, before Justice Doris Dabanka Awuah-Bekoe, sought to stop Angela List, Nguvu Mining Limited and Adamus Ghana from transferring the shares. The court found the conditions for an injunction had not been met and called the application meritless.
Adamus Australia sued in February 2025, claiming the November 2022 transfer of the shares to Nguvu Mining was fraudulent because its director, Alan Morrison, did not sign the deed.
The defendants argued that Ms List is the ultimate beneficial owner of all the companies involved and that the deed was signed by Moses Bosompem, then a director of Adamus Australia.
In July 2025, the court ordered Adamus Australia to pay the cedi equivalent of $50,000 as security for costs.
