Students in the Atwima Mponua District have been issued a stern warning against participating in illegal mining activities. The Ashanti Regional Minister, during a recent visit to the area, emphasized the serious consequences of engaging in 'galamsey'.
The Minister made it clear that any student found at a galamsey site will face immediate arrest and subsequent legal action. This directive aims to curb the involvement of youth in destructive and illegal mining practices that are impacting the region.
