Lawyer Gary Nimako has voiced strong criticism against the bail conditions imposed by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). He stated these conditions are both deliberate and outrageous.

Nimako, who serves as the Director of Legal Affairs for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), specifically targeted the practices under EOCO boss Raymond Archer. He described the modus operandi as unhealthy.

The lawyer shared his views in an interview on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program. He did not specify which cases prompted his remarks but expressed general concern about EOCO's bail procedures.

The interview focused on the nature of bail granted by the state institution. Nimako argues that the terms often go beyond what is considered reasonable.

His comments raise questions about the fairness and proportionality of bail set by EOCO. The agency is responsible for investigating economic and organised crime.

This criticism comes at a time when public scrutiny of state institutions is increasing. The impact of strict bail conditions on individuals is a significant concern.
