Several people have suffered severe cutlass wounds in a clash between Fulani herdsmen and local youth at Manso in the Mpohor area of the Western Region, according to Rainbow Radio.
Citing eyewitnesses, the station said the fight started over an unpaid akpeteshie bill at a drinking spot. Traditional leaders later told herdsmen to leave the community.
Rainbow Radio said the Mpohor District Police Command has launched an investigation. No arrests have been reported.
