Teacher found dead in Assin Fosu, police investigate

Police have begun an investigation into the death of a teacher in Assin Fosu. The deceased is Emmanuel Kofi Quainoo, aged 38.

Mr Quainoo was found in his room after returning from work. He taught at Faith Academy Basic School in Assin Dompim.

Officers were called to the scene. They found Mr Quainoo unresponsive.

The Ghana Police Service is handling the case. They are looking into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Authorities at this time suspect suicide may have been the cause.
