According to Citi Newsroom, the High Court in Accra has adjourned the criminal case involving former NAFCO CEO Hanan Abdul Wahab and his wife, Faiza Seidu Wuni, to November 19. The adjournment was granted by Justice Francis Achibonga to allow for further directions following an order from the Court of Appeal. A three-member panel of the Court of Appeal, presided over by Justice Noble Nkrumah, previously granted a stay of proceedings pending the determination of an appeal. This appeal was filed by the accused persons after the High Court dismissed their application to have the charge sheet struck out for allegedly failing to disclose sufficient particulars of the offences. The state notified the High Court of the appellate court's decision to stay proceedings, leading to the current adjournment.
